Introducing Pitch Clinic

As many of you already know, we Deck Doctors love to overthink start-up pitches. We've helped around 250 companies raise close to a billion dollars, published a book, and released hours of footage. There's a lot of things we love about our jobs — but one thing keeps bugging us: we never get a chance to work with many of the awesome idea and pre-stage founders that reach out to us. So we brainstormed...a lot.

The answer? A workshop-based approach to pitch crafting.

A great pitch isn't rocket science. But it's also not a static 10 slide Sequoia framework. Winning pitches combine multiple skillsets: storytelling, design, content, and audience positioning. Lucky for you, we can teach you what you need to know in about 72 hours.

The Pitch Clinic includes three 60 min workshops across 3 days, covering the secrets of story, slide construction, and design.

• Monday - Storytelling Essentials: 12:00pm-1:00pm EDT
• Tuesday - Bringing Story To Life on Slides: 12:00pm-1:00pm EDT
• Wednesday - Refining Writing & Design: 12:00pm-1:00pm EDT
• Thursday / Friday - Individualized Deck Review + Recommendations: Async

In addition to the live workshops, prepare for a few hours of pitch homework across the week. At the end of the week, you'll receive a personalized video recording from a Deck Doctor to help you finalize the pitch. Once the program is wrapped and your pitch is set, you'll receive the option for a discounted design refresh! We totally recommend using Canva, AI tools, or freelance designers — but our team is also pretty good at dressing up pitch decks for showtime :).
